Lonely drives, hikes, travel and mountainbiking is what I like the most. Nobody to slow me down or hurry me up. My own pace in my own world. It’s alright if my family decides to join me. However, they’re not always up to the task – this is when I have to give in and find something easier/slower/less risky. Wife needs to be kept happy too. Otherwise she’ll leave. And who’s gonna pay the mortgage off? It’s hard for me to stand still. Weekend comes and I’m itching to get away. I don’t like to come back to the same place again (unless it’s Andorra – more about this some other time) because the world is a big place with a lot to visit. I go up the mountain one way, but I have to come back another – because there’s a different area to see. During my childhood I was sent to camps. That taught me to how to look after myself and organise my time. Result? I’ll find a way out form every situation. Do I get stressed under pressure? Of course, but I release it by shouting, swearing and occasional kicking items around me. But I don’t allow stress to affect my sanity. Because you need clear head for logical thinking. That’s all about me. If you’d like to read something more “normal” then please read the column about my wife.
